Every year, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office on Women’s Health (OWH) hosts National Women’s Health Week beginning on Mother’s Day.
The observance shines a light on health issues and priorities that affect women and girls across the lifespan. This year's theme, "Prioritizing Women's Health: Caring for Mind and Body", emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach to women's health, empowering women and girls across all life stages to take charge of their well-being. It also encourages women to feel confident in their health journeys, recognizing that wellness extends beyond physical health and includes mental and emotional well-being.
