Join us for a gentle and accessible yoga suitable for all levels (chair modifications available), which will include guided breathwork for stress reduction, and a short mindfulness meditation practice.
The session is designed to be inclusive, welcoming beginners as well as those with prior experience. The focus will be on nervous system regulation, relaxation, and building simple, sustainable mindfulness habits.
Meet with representatives from New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services (NJ4S) and learn about services they provide to families with children in grades K through 12. Stop by their table to gather info and freebies, and let them know what support your family needs.
NJ4S is a prevention program that supports youth mental wellness and can connect students and their parents/caregivers with other community resources beneficial to social, emotional, and mental health and well-being, including clinical and non-clinical resources.

Started in 2013, the Mobile Family Success Center seeks to strengthen individual and family functioning and empower people to acquire the knowledge, skills and resources they need to succeed and to provide an optimal environment for children’s development throughout Middlesex County.
Family friendly workshops such as resume writing, family budgeting, or family fun activities are held in places such as schools, libraries, community centers, so they are accessible to everyone. Other services include information and referrals, as well as family success planning and case management.
Join medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for an exciting hands-on event about senses! Kids will rotate through fun activities that challenge their hearing, vision, movement, and hand skills to see how different people experience the world. Then we’ll talk about what they felt and how we can be more kind, helpful, and inclusive to everyone.

The East Brunswick Mental Health Task Force and the East Brunswick Public Library team up for East Brunswick Stress Less Day on Saturday, April 11, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm!
The event is primarily held outside, around the East Brunswick Municipal Pond (2 Jean Walling Civic Center), behind the East Brunswick Municipal Pond. Attendees can meet with mental health care experts and organizations, complete relaxing and stress-free arts and craft activities, and enjoy the outdoors.
There is also a sound yoga activity inside the library (from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm).
