The most important and most anticipated event of the day for many senior adults, who are homebound, disabled, unable to shop and/or cook for themselves is to receive home-delivered hot and cold kosher meals from the Kosher Meals On Wheels program. The food is important, but of equal importance is the chance to have a conversation, or share a few words, with the volunteer who is delivering these meals to their home Monday through Friday, For Jewish Holidays, such as Passover, a special meal can help a senior adult honor their traditions.
