The Center for Balance at Raritan Bay Medical Center

The Center for Balance uses a series of sophisticated tests to diagnose for balance or dizziness disorders. The testing process takes slightly more more than an hour and offers patients complete diagnostics and vestibular (balance) therapy treatment, giving you confidence to get back on your feet. The Center for Balance may be able to help you if you have experienced any of the following balance disorder symptoms:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Difficulty getting up from a chair or out of bed
• Numbness or loss of sensation in the legs
• Trouble walking up or down inclined surfaces
• Loss of balance when standing still, when walking or both
• Needing to lean on something when walking
• Feeling unsteady
