The second half of the program features Ashgan Elshinawy, DO, medical director, Center for Sleeping and Breathing Disorders, Saint Peter's University Hospital. She discusses sleep apnea and insomnia in adults. In the setting of the COVID pandemic, there may be fewer people willing to have outpatient testing for safety issues and therefore go undiagnosed and untreated. Insomnia is likely worsening among millions during the pandemic for a variety of reasons.
