Journaling is a powerful practice for self-reflection, emotional well-being, and personal growth. By putting thoughts, feelings, and experiences onto paper, individuals create space for greater self-awareness, stress reduction, and creative exploration. While traditional journaling relies primarily on words, combining writing with visual art can deepen the reflective process and unlock new forms of expression.

Workshop Objectives

● Introduce journaling as a tool for self-reflection, mindfulness, and stress reduction.

● Demonstrate simple mixed-media art techniques suitable for all skill levels.

● Encourage creative expression through the integration of words, images, and artistic elements.

● Promote sustainable art-making practices through the use of recycled and repurposed materials.

● Build confidence in personal creativity regardless of prior artistic experience.

● Create a meaningful, personalized journal page or series of pages that participants can continue developing beyond the workshop.
