Meet the Coordinator of South Asian Mental Health Outreach Program

Information on mental health support groups, mental health related social gatherings, training, education programs and professional lists will be introduced at this outreach information table event by the coordinator of NAMI NJ SAMHAJ.

NAMI NJ SAMHAJ (South Asian Mental Health Awareness in New Jersey) is a NAMI New Jersey initiative to help South Asians understand that mental illness is a biologically based and treatable illness. SAMHAJ serves South Asians from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
