Meet a Future Doctor!

Join us for the Day of Service, an exciting annual event where first-year medical students from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School visit the library to share health and wellness information and connect with library patrons. This is a wonderful opportunity for patrons to engage with the medical students about general health topics. Additionally, it’s a great chance for kids and teens interested in pursuing a career in medicine to speak with the students about the educational paths they took to reach this stage in their careers!  (Please note, medical students are happy to share their personal experiences and insights, but they are not college or career counselors and cannot provide specific advice.)

The students will also be sharing giveaways and wellness information for kids, teens, and families in the YS department. At the same time, general health and wellness information will be available and shared by students in the library lobby.
